Then how do you explain 11 runs against Missouri and just 2 against Southern?
Explain to me how the Boston Red Sox won the world series, but lost 60 games last season, including multiple games to the Orieols, who were the worst team in baseball.

Millennials aren’t naturally competitive. They need a big crowd to be motivated. Remember, all of these kids received participation trophies.

It must suck going through life knowing deep down inside you are a little bitch (for them, not you).

It was 12
I was comparing 9 innings to 9 innings. So, it was 11.

Baseball is a cruel game... It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great.

Probably never played much baseball.
No.
Tee ball doesn't count.

....baseball? I love the game. Never cease to be amazed at the skill needed to hit a fastball coming at your at 90+ mph, or throwing the darned ball in a strike zone no bigger than a small box. As for toughness? Guys get hit with a fricking wild pitch and most of the time.....don't even blink. Suck it up and play ball!!
Love me some baseball!!

Actually they didn’t lose 60, they only lost 57, including the post season

You get the point I'm trying to make.

I don't understand why people get so up in arms over a harmless and appropriate phrase like that. Baseball a game of random outcomes. That's why they play so many games in order to determine a team's worth. Anyone flipping their shite over the slightest hint of adversity just doesn't understand the game or is overly emotional. Simple as that.
This is the best possible response to the dumbassery in the OP and to the droves of rantards lacking basic brain power.
Soak this above paragraph in and you will all help make this site a better place.

That’s just baseball.
If you want to point fingers at coaches over every run allowed by a pitch or out made by a player or any single loss during the season you do not understand baseball or you just like screaming at the sky

I’ve used the Tommy Lasorda quote that you’re gonna win 50 and lose 50 it’s what happens in the other 50 that determines you season many times

Took Southern for granted and played lackluster ball. Was more focused and took Missouri more serious and pulled out a win. Not the focus, approach or performance you need to win championships but they are in a position to win the SEC. Time will tell.

It’s pretty simple to understand if you actually follow baseball.
I’m a Cubs fan so I’ll use them for an example: the 2016 Cubs were world champs. They were around 108 wins and about 52 losses. So the best team in baseball lost about 1/3 of their games. Among those 52 losses, some came against some of the worst teams in the league.
Baseball is a strange sport. It’s one of the main reasons that they determine champions by series and not by games.

Why are you attacking me? I am in full agreement with "it is just baseball" Baseball is about winning odds, not winning all the time. My post is asking those who don't agree with "it's just baseball" to then explain something that I know can only be explained with "it is just baseball" meaning that is just how baseball is.....dumbass.

There were no lies. I said they “probably” started their ace. It was speculation on my part, and apparently I was wrong. Don’t be so quick to call somebody a liar.
