How is this even acceptable. Even if football won a championship this year it would not change my feelings on alleva needing to be canned. This wade debacle is hands down the worst of his time at LSU. The entire team is declaring and I don’t blame them. This should have been handled so some of these guys knew what their future at LSU would be like.

Do you know the current landscape in college basketball? This is happening to almost every major program every year.

If the BOS is only about making money, then the damage to the basketball program will COST money because ticket sales will be in the dumper and donations will drop off.

Decades? That's a bit dramatic.

This has now become the long decline of a basketball program. 4-5 players leaving and no coach to recruit new players. The longer this goes the worse it gets. You can blame Wade all you want but lack of action by the AD has now cost the program 2 to 3 years of any possible success. The AD either needs to fire Wade and try and get a new coach or get out of the way. The lack of action is now hurting the program

Like the many successes we've had on the hardwood this clusterfrick has been a TEAM effort. I feel like with all of these early departures we're getting the death penalty.

Wade knows if he meets with LSU he can coach again. He’s the guiltiest party in all of this. He knew if he met he could coach the SECT. He knew if he met he could coach the NCAA Tournament. He knew if he met he wouldn’t be barred from recruiting. All of this very plainly falls on his shoulders, and he knows it.

Anyone on LSU’s BoS who wants Alleva and FKA gone and are not speaking out publicly against those holding them back are just as much a problem as the apparent majority who are content to see LSU effectively discontinue the athletic program.

The governor needs to go and the next one needs to replace every single one of them as soon as their terms expire IF he can’t persuade/pressure them to step down voluntarily.

If you vote to re-elect JBE, you’re part of the problem.
