Don’t park your car illegally downtown and you won’t get booted

Or legally.. if you ever, at all, plan to park on a street in Orleans Parish, then you should pay the ticket.. anywhere else in the country, you can ignore photo tickets but in NOLA, though they’ll never increase your insurance or affect your credit or result in a warrant for your arrest- you WILL get booted and then have to pay whatever you owed for ticket(s) plus various and sundry fees and charges.

What do you mean park illegally? Like on the street, that’s perfectly legal. You know they drive around scaning vehicles license plate to find cars with unpaid tickets, right? Regardless if you’re parked legally or illegally on the street.

They have cars and vans with cameras that read your license plate and notify them if you have any unpaid tickets, etc.

They used to pass my house in Mid-City at least once a week, so your theory that you’re safe parked legally downtown, or even on the street in front of your house for that matter, is flawed.
