Yes, quite a few times:

-Mom stayed with us for 4 months when Dad’s addiction got out of control
-Sister stayed with us for 3 months when she got a nursing role at St Jude’s.
-MIL stayed with us for 6 months when wife broke her leg and had to have reconstruction surgery. She couldn’t drive, bathe, use the restroom, or really anything by herself for almost a year. Worked from home during that time.

Sister staying with us was fine, fun a majority of the time. MIL staying with us was great and it was a huge help, sure we bickered sometimes but overall fine. Mom staying with us was a nightmare from hell.

We try to always be there and support family in need. We’ve never needed help but we know they’d be there for us in a heartbeat.
