IRVING, Texas - Police officers shot and killed two dogs that attacked their owner at an Irving animal hospital Saturday morning. The victim later died from her injuries.
According to the Irving Police Department, the attack happened at the O'Connor Animal Hospital.
Two pit bulls were being quarantined for a bite earlier this month, and their owner, 33-year-old Johana Villafane, came to play with the dogs.
Employees at the animal hospital realized they hadn't seen Villafane in a while, so they went to check on her.
When they went out back, they saw her bleeding on the ground and being attacked by the two dogs.
The employees called 911, and when officers got there, police say the two dogs were still attacking Villafane.
Officers shot and killed the dogs, and Villafane was taken to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Whether you believe bad owners or bad breed, this case takes care of both.

That facility is about to be sued.

Breed of Pieces strikes again. I think they are becoming self aware.

Yea because it’s their fault that stupid people insist on owning dangerous pit bulls.
The entire breed needs to be exterminated

They are already aware that humans are tasty

Quarantined after a bite? These death machines should not be on a three strike program.

Maybe that is why they like to pick them off in the ocean.

They were likely amazed and flabbergasted that their schnuckems could bite someone. Well jokes on their stupid arse.
Pit owners love to say that their baby wouldn’t hurt a fly......until it murders someone.

Something I’d like to ask Pit Bull owners, hypothetical if you will.
Let’s say in the near future, it becomes popular for people to start keeping full grown lions as pets. Soon there are thousands of pet lions all across the US. But along with the growing popularity of owning a full grown lion comes a massive increase in lion attacks in the US, many, if not most, fatal. Would you consider those people who own a lion to be:
A. An idiot
B. Someone you can relate to and hang out with to play with their pet lion.
(If you answer B, please help me understand your rationale)
TIA

There's was a lady walking a pit it my neighborhood while I was taking a walk with my little girl. It took everything that lady could do to hold on to that dog while he tried to charge us. He damn near pulled her face first on the ground.
I just got between it and my daughter and took out my pocket knife. It was all I had but that thing was going to get stabbed as many times as I could manage.

That’s scary. I’d have reacted in the same manner except I don’t leave home without my .44. The second it looked like the dog was going to break lose... lights out.
And yes, I’ don’t leave home with out my conceal carry .44 spc.

You don’t want rationale. Nothing anyone says will make you change your mind. Just like with politics. People are biased about everything.

Yeah it was a bit unsettling. If that lady didn't hold on I'm sure I'd have gotten mauled. My knife has a 4 inch blade so I hopefully could have at least hurt it.
Never thought to pack a pistol on a walk around here. It's a quiet neighborhood of mostly old white people
