I have a feeling that you guys are relying on a pretty tortured definition of "exoneration".
Well, no collusion or conspiracy. Wasn’t that the point of the Special Prosecutor?

Many of our resident trumpkins will call almost anything
an exoneration. For example, if the decision is made not to
attempt to indict a sitting president in contravention of DOJ policy, I'm sure a lot of posters will argue that somehow constitutes "exoneration".

That's probably what happened.
"We find that the President did indeed collude with Russia in an effort to sway the election. We furthermore find that he is an agent of the Russian government, and has sought to impede and obstruct this investigation at every step. Unfortunately, He's the president and we cannot indict him."

Was the purpose of the SC to investigate Russian collusion? Not a single person was indicted for collusion or conspiracy. If that isn’t exoneration, what is?

the sad part is you are 1 of the few people on this lame trump board I actually like. don't go over to the dark side. I don't want him guilty because of what it will do to the office of the presidency, but I fear it's to late for that.

Have you realized yet that SDNY isn’t investigating anything to do with Russia? I mean...that was a pretty ignorant thing for you to think.

I have no love for the man. I find nothing particularly noble about him. But the alternative was much worse.

You and 56lsu are morons

quote:question: does it bother you that the things trump is "guilty" of were from years and years ago? let me ask another way: why are these "crimes" suddenly not ok but have been unprosecuted for years?
also money laundering, insurance fraud, and a lot of other things

and a lot of other things
quote:like what? the msm media has been wrong about "collusion" all along and fox/conservative media were right
listen to other things besides fox and the trumpkins on the poli board

in contravention of DOJ policy
quote:it was precisely that. there were allegations of collusion. the 4+ year investigation found nothing of the sort despite multiple federal agencies and the special counsel team being biased in favor of it. if that's not an exoneration, nothing is.

That would mean Trump is the most brilliant clandestine operator on the planet. He had to pull of this grand scheme of engaging the Russians help to manipulate the election total alone, with his closest advisors having no knowledge of his actions. If he had had help those people would have obviously been discovered and indicted not having the protection of being a sitting president. Quite a feat for someone seen by liberals/democrats/media as lacking the intelligence to be president.

You said they could be. Truth is, you have no clue what they are investigating. You are ignorant.
