Forrest Gump Writer Reveals Scrapped Sequel Details - Junior had the AIDS

- Forrest Jr. definitely had Jenny's AIDS
- Forrest was the 3rd person in the back of AC's white Bronco.
- An accomplished ball room dancer, he danced with Princess Di
- Forrest falls for a Native American and ends up calling BINGO on a reservation, she dies while he's waiting for her on a bench outside of where she works as a nursery school teacher...at the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City.
Sounds terrible.

The Saints' management believes this to be a holdout tactic, and he is cut from the team.

I always thought it would be interesting if a sequel took a likeable hero in a completely different, much darker direction. Forrest Gump was always my example.
After 20 minutes of showing the father/son relationship between Forrest and Forrest Jr., Forrest Jr. is kidnapped by the bad guys.
Forrest goes on a mission to get Forrest Jr. back, using his Vietnam training to violently murder his way to the bad guys. As Forrest becomes more desperate, his methods become more violent and dangerous and increasingly make you question if he's still in the right.
Or the bad guys could kill Forrest Jr. in the beginning and you basically get John Wick/The Punisher, except with Forrest Gump doing the killing.

Good Lord. Can we make it more depressing?
- Forrest becomes a pilot for American Airlines and has his throat slit with a box cutter just prior to flying into the World Trade Center. Camera follows pigeon feather blown up from explosion. Fade to black.
