It's not a boogeyman. It's a fact that high profile baseball coaches are millionaires, they can demand anything of a kid trying to make a career out of the sport, and they can deflect blame to those kids for having weak arms or blame their tball coaches. Why should I figure it out? They are getting paid millions. Do you not care about the young men?

Ok. This is your stance. Now point me to specific instances where the LSU coaching staff is not caring about the players health and/or over using them without regard to their personal health.

Wow yall want me to make my point 500 times each thread. Again....

Jaden hill kind of blows up the travel ball angle and raises red flags.

If one of you super fans could lay out his practice and scrimmage schedule at lsu with links we can begin to formulate theories.

Are you sure it's not your kid that sucks? Sorry he couldn't make it, but that's life. Put him in the other leagues to grab some participation trophies and you can then both feel better about yourselves.

Do you know what an anecdote is? Just curious.

Why do we only look at his LSU career?

You haven't laid out any facts this entire thread. This is what happens when a basketball fan tries to argue a sport they casually glance over from time to time.

as has been posted countless times, Jaden Hill went from being a multi-sport athlete to just pitching over the summer, fall, and into spring. There’s no surprise that he’s experienced some arm fatigue.

Stop just regurgitating the same mindless bs throughout every thread you derail and other posters would stop pointing out how wrong you are.

years of overuse and misdiagnosis. Too many baseball dads think just put ice and go back out there and it tears these kids up

Incredibly true! Throw in travel ball coaches and High School coaches as well.

You sound jealous.

No, they can't. That's just not true.

Link to just one statement by any LSU coach that the arm issues our pitchers are having are the players' faults. You can't do it. Yet you keep repeating it over and over.

I believe it has to do with multiple issues, travel ball being one, over throwing the pitchers in practice and the pitchers not doing what they need for arm care before and after games. I asked Alex L. why he didn’t get hurt compared to others and he said most of the guys didn’t prepare right, and would just picked up a ball and start to throw. If you have a kid that plays TB and pitches count all his pitches (warm up, between innings) you would be surprised how many he actually throws, and then he plays short, catcher and third that’s a lot.

I hated travel ball long before my kid sucked at it.

I'm still waiting for you to link to one statement in this thread where a poster blames the players for their arm problems.

I'm also still waiting for you to link to any news article where an LSU coach has blamed the players for their arm issues.

If you can't do those simple things, GTFOH with your ignorant nonsense.

That poster is largely blaming travel ball, which you don't agree with. It has also been brought up by many others.

That poster also blamed the players, which you accused others of not doing.

You are all over the place. Is it hard to keep up with the stupidity you keep shouting?

Everything in your post blames travel ball. And fwiw, Alex didn't do anything more special than Walker. Their prep was the same.

It's not just the travel ball. It's the constant showcase circuit too where guys have to show up and throw max effort for every radar gun or they won't get noticed.

These showcases may happen in the middle of a summer season where it messes up the kids routine and has them throwing high intensity sessions off schedule. Or they may happen at a time when the kid should be in shutdown to recover, so they either extend their throwing calendar to accommodate the showcase or they come in without the proper build up. Both of those things are dangerous.

Some of this is being combatted, at least for the high level kids with the expansion of the MLB PDP league. It's basically taking aim at Perfect Game and stopping the pay for play issue and providing better coaching for these prospects.

It will take a while for it to filter to more levels, but it's a start.
