reppace the word “offer” for “pitch” which in the context of a scholarship offer isn’t crazy, and this whole things is very reasonable.

If my son or daughter received an athletic scholarship, I would absolutely consider it a scholarship to me and my wife because the school is picking up my tab. That’s a lot of money saved for me, so I guess it would be “tilted” in my favor.
