Than most other major universities? It seems like schools like Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, Alabama, etc have one, maybe two major blunders every 10 years.

LSU has had a lot of bad publicity under this leadership. It’s starting to put a black eye on the university. LSU has sustained a lot of bad media attention lately. Whether it’s Alexander, Alleva, etc. someone needs to go. The top is becoming a case study on everything not to do from an administration.

No strong leadership, everyone pulling in opposite directions and trying to save their own arse, a lot of people in power who have no special love for LSU.

Ohio State literally had to fire the second best football coach in the country because he lied about a wife beater on his staff.

Lack of leadership, lack of an intelligent PR team at important time. You can tell because ole big nose has such lack of awareness during interviews and in situations like yesterday. When being questioned about 2 different hirings within the same year he explained the searches as two completely different ways. He is a man without a vision, an indecisive coward.

Correct.

But their last major bad look was under Tressel for players getting tattoos about 12-15 years ago. Like I said, other universities weather a scandal every 10 years. LSU has been having back to back under crappy leadership.

It seems that way because it's the one you're looking at. Most of these Administrators never left college, have spent very little if any time in the private sector and have little to no idea how the world works outside their insular ivy covered walls.

LSU is a microcosm of Louisiana as a whole. Poor leadership has always held us back.

This couldn’t be any more on the nose. Always has and always will be that will sadly due to corrupt politics, yes men, and people looking to just CYA instead of working towards the greater good.
