Will Wade lied

very likely not true. if he didn't know about these specific taps, he didn't lie (even under the LSU admin's factual allegations)

and then refused to meet with LSU

a. this is likely bullshite. LSU AD leaked a story to cover its arse. this is their talking points to try to get cover with fans and the media

b. even if this is somewhat true, Wade can't really talk to them b/c of the trial. he can't really talk to anyone about this other than his lawyers. he's subpoenaed for a trial and the LSU AD knows this, and they know that he can't talk to them about this (for many legal reasons)

He's not been charged, right? I don't understand how an employee can't tell his boss about something that involves the company the boss and employee work for. Hell, he may not even testify.

you literally made up this entire post to spin a narrative. Good fricking lord some of y’all will spin Will Wade’s idiotic actions till you die. You talk about wanting to investigate and find the truth before acting and then make up an entire narrative

He can't talk to his boss? Sure he can.

He could go in and tell them he can't discuss specifics due to legal concerns.

He could say he had no idea that tape existed and as such answered their previous inquiry truthfully as he understood the question.

He can assure them that this will be the only thing they have or tell them that other possibilities exist.

He can assure them that he will not and cannot be compelled under oath to reveal anything that will implicate LSU without discussing specifics. Or tell them to prepare for the possibility without giving details, as well.
