The NCAA doesn't operate like the courts, and there are no Rules of Evidence, and there is no standard of proof. If it weren't for the FBI, the NCAA would be toothless in this entire thing, with no evidence at all, but they're going to feel compelled to come down as hard as they can. The media pressure will be too great to do otherwise.
I can't see why everyone is furious with Alleva, but no one seems upset with Will Wade. He's the one who created this mess.

Stop with your feelings and actually think about this like an adult. It doesn’t matter what other people do. Wade disobeyed a direct order from his boss, and no matter how understandable it is, he got popped for it like he’s supposed to. He’s running for cover because he isn’t in a position to represent LSU in any way right now.

Thanks for keeping calm in the middle of the storm. It seems refreshing. Some of these people are idiots. I personally think everything will be okay, and he’ll stay at LSU. Not sure when he’ll be reinstated, but I think we’ll be okay.

You're right that it has to be proven, but if he was dumb enough to be talking to a middleman to begin with, then there's a good chance they have more info to back it up. Do you think Saban or Meyers would ever be caught talking to a middleman, no way! Leave the dirty work for those behind the scenes! He was stupid for ever talking to a middleman!
