Most of y’all must live in an alternate reality. He most certainly paid the players. Every major program does this in basketball and football. He just got caught on tape saying some questionable stuff. I personally don’t care if he did it or not. It’s all about whether they can prove he did it. Make no mistake though he paid the recruits. Wade is the man though and hopefully this blows over.

Lol I’ve said this before no one gives a shite if he did it. Don’t self impose sanctions. Make the NCAA work for it if anything is gonna happen to us.

It's not what they know, it's what they can prove. A good lawyer can twist up what Wade said, and suggest he was merely talking about playing more minutes than a usual 1st year freshman, or receiving extra warm up sweats, etc...

Pretty sure most fans believe some shady stuff went down.
The thing is, most of us accept that that's what it takes to be one of the big boys, we know the big boys do the same shite, and we also know you don't cave to the media or the NCAA until it's absolutely necessary.
Other teams have gotten off Scott free for doing the same. At this point you ride it to the end. Alleva is too big a pussy to do that though.
