That board is literally fake, it's mostly foreign sock puppet accounts, paid shills and bots. It was sold following the Democrat national convention in 2016.

I got banned from DU in under 5 minutes for making a factual post; I was TRYING to be sensible so they had no reason to ban me. The thread was about George Soros and I simply stated that he has "had a hand in many political networks around the world" and that was it.
I was banned 5 minutes later because multiple users reported me. There's nobody that likes to silence slightly-differing opinions that make them uneasy like the progressives. It's astonishing how easily they're "offended."
I can't think of a political message board I haven't been banned from. Seriously, every single one of them. They are usually group think, and will zot you if you disagree.
