Looks like I’m going to need a new fridge.

Are there any brands you recommend?

Any brands you would avoid?

My parents bought a nice Samsung a few years ago.

They've had to have it worked on 3 times because it stopped cooling correctly.

That's literally the one thing fridges really need to do well.

Other Samsung products I hear good things about, may just be a lemon.

I've found Vance Refrigeration to have the best quality. Ask for Bob.

Buy local. Very hard to get parts & products serviced purchased through Home Depot & Lowe’s. My 2 cents based on experience. Good Luck!!

Whatever brand that one was. It saved Indy. It could one day save you.

Our Samsung fridge is terrible. Don't think they know how ice makers work.

Samsung doesn't make anything decent these days

Yeah, don’t buy Samsung. Hard to get parts, no one will work on.

Ours, the ice maker stopped working within a couple of years. Then it has some issue where it leaks the condensation. Ruined a part of my wood floors

I've heard good things about their washers and dryers, which I hope is true because I just bought a pair. Lol.

And my phone is good. No problems with it.

We bought 1 year ago.
We were willing to drop some serious cash for a "fancy" fridge.

Turns out.....nobody likes to make fridges with real icemakers anymore. After weeks of searching....we opted for Frigidaire Gallery (with TWO icemakers!)
Seriously, Im a gym guy and I have three athlete kids.....we would not survive without the extra icemaker.

We have loved the fridge.

Good luck!!

We like our KitchenAid fridge. Icemaker in the bottom. Plus the cool handles with the red bolt

I bought a Frigidaire about 12 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. I’dbuy The same thing again tomorrow.

My neighbor is a repairman. He says whirlpool or Frigidaire on any appliance. Anyone can work on them. Samsung, LG, etc will really limit your choices especially if you don’t live close to a city. Friend of mine bought a washer from one of those and the only authorized repairman refused to go out because it was over 25 miles.
