I never taken any of mine out to eat either. Some of the wild ones were mean af anyway (white lip and amathistine Pythons I’m looking at you) so trying to do anything would result in striking fury.
Like stated tho if the snake is finally taking it out will not work
And speaking of finicky. I had some hatchling grey banded King snakes that would not eat at first and I had to force feed them lizzard tali’s and other parts. Then they would eat the tail on there own if it was fresh broke and moving. Then they would finally go after pinkies after I’d wipe some lizard blood on them. Then finally onto normal ravenous eating. Pita but they were fine looking!
