Lysol after going #2 - Do you use it?

What is the purpose of Lysol spray after taking a shite? I for one do not spray it because I hate the smell of a Lysol and Shite mixture more than just Shite.
Is Lysol supposed to mask/overpower the stench or remove the smell particles from the air?
Do you find it actually helps?
No I am not an inconsiderate prick who leave a room shite smelling for others.
I will typically light a nice scented candle in place of spraying an air freshener.
What say they OT?

If you flush the toilet with the lid up, fecal matter hits the air. So, yes, Lysol's germ killing is needed.
