I was extremely disappointed with Husk.
i know you were. You have bagged on Husk in every Nashville thread. A friend of mine knows the owner and recommended it, so we will try it out...Why did you not like it? What specifically was the matter?

Well hell Dear Leader, you asked for recs in Nashville so I was just giving mine. Frankly I didn't think anyone on here paid attention to my posts enough to really notice anything I've recommended in the past.

Honestly, the food was just ok. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't anything great, and for ~$250 for two people I was just hoping for better than ok. I will say that the space is outstanding.

Maybe I caught them on a bad night, who knows. I hope y'all really enjoy it.

I wasn’t impressed with Husk either maybe it was the hype around it? It reminds me of Cochon type menu because more local type food so lots of turnip greens and sweet potatoes, grits and sorghum. Very little seafood maybe local trout.

My husband was not impressed when his beef dish which he thought was a steak was presented and sliced portions of the cut. My chicken skin appetizers was not very good.

If you have a connection to the owner you may have a different experience.
