I have a hard time believing Trump or Clinton are great examples of Christianity.

You could ask the same of our president fwiw.

Exactly! Clinton used churches as a photo op.

And Donald Trump has been followed around by the paparazzi for 40 years. He's had his photo taken a thousand times around New York City coming out of every different establishment BUT church!!!

Clinton and Trump both play their supporters for fools equally.

They are similar to RINOs in the Republican party. They claim that name only as a means to an end. Same with Christians who want gay marriage, abortion, etc.

Sadly, we are starting to discover that they are abusing the call to reach out to all men. Because it allows them to gain status, and then attempt to alter the edicts of the Bible. Also known as destroying the church

Dangerous times

Nope. You pray to the Father in in the name of Jesus.

Jesus gave us the example,

"Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name."

I didnt read all this, but the answer is simple. Just like with the republican/conservative ideology, you dont have to choose to like/promote ALL of the dems social views. It's also MUCH easier to understand when you realize that this country was founded, by Protestant Christians, on the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.

While Im independent, conservative leaning, it blows my mind when people collude religion and politics. Morality should not be legislated by anyone other than God, right? So who are you to say we cant kill babies if you are not God? I understand the Word clearly states it is wrong, but the Word doesn't (to my knowledge) discuss creation of non-Canon law. Im in the middle on Abortion, I honestly dont care either way, but the social/political climate is moving towards pro abortion, pro socially democratic policies, and I dont see that changing, unfortunately.

Usually they think the point of Christianity is social justice instead of glorifying God through faith in Christ.

I'm sorry, but people who believe that can act an arse all week long then go to church and "Praise Jesus" and all is good, will be in for a rude awakening.

Explain to me how one can claim to follow Christ and also vote for the Democratic Party?

The demoniac in Mark 1 was, after all, in the synagogue. Satan masquerades as an angel of light (although he's been running around in a unitard with a pitchform of late...).

A union worker will vote for democrats over jesus

I know a lot of teachers that are conservative. Also if you are what we think of as union (blue collar types) why would you stay on that Dem train.

Trump is pro business and most of the Dems are for Universal Health Care and one of the most important aspects of being in a Union after pay is the benefits. What they like to call Cadillac Plans.
