I found this article showing another way through PlayStation Vue free trial. Apparently you do not need a PlayStation. I do not have one.

definitely a solid idea
I think the best way for anyone that doesnt already have LHN is to do a free trial of one of the streaming services that carries it

I have Direct TV. They have it available one of two ways. Upgrade to the premier package or add a supped up sports package. The Direct TV rep offered the sports package to me for free for 3 months.
So now I have the Longhorn Network!

Above
Or
Contact Eatel, ask them what their Sports packages are.
Most likely tier 1 ..ESPNU SEC Network
Tier 2
Big 10 Network ,Pac 12, Longhorn network

since you have a firestick, I would just sign up for a free trial of one of the streaming services that has it and then cancel after the week
Unless you just want to have LHN for the future, I wouldn't talk to EATEL but whatever you feel is cool

What about Comcast in Louisiana. Do they have Long horn network
Posted on 2/28/19 at 4:20 pm to Riolobo
I am sure they carry the network in some capacity but I cannot know whether or not you will have access to it without knowing what cable package you have
I had xfinity (comcast) years ago so I know you can go to their website and search the channel line up
best to do that or try logging in to watchESPN with your comcast credentials and seeing if you can access LHN there

For those that have DirecTV, I just called them, they offered me a 3 month free trial for additional sports pack. Just have to cancel before 3 months or else it's 13.99/month.
ETA: my neighbor just called and got 6 months of the additional sports pack for free and auto cancels after 6 months.
