How do you pronounce “Sabine”

suh-BEAN is the only way I've ever heard it pronounced.

The people I know from around Deridder all say Sah bean. But they could also just be Hicks.

Sah bean is what I hear most folks from around Dulac call them. That’s where they make them. I am also qualified to say that because I would drink beer with them at Charlie Fitch’s place. Not many white folks did that.
