I was getting the feeling that they would premier one character every episode after the first. Like with Haunting of Hill House.

I was hoping someone would tell me to hang in, and it gets great.

First 2 are the slowest. Picks up from there. 6-8 were pretty wild. Still haven’t watched the last two

You can probably skip most of Pages scenes. They are the biggest drag on the pacing and she doesn’t really get important until the last few episodes

I watched the entire series Friday/Saturday and started a rewatch on Sunday and I have to give episode 2 a bit more credit. They setup so much stuff in episode 2 it's actually much better the 2nd time around.

I wouldn't suggest this honestly. It helps build her character. I do have to give credit to casting her, Ellen Page is Vanya. I don't think a character and actor has ever been so perfect for each other.
