Take the spark plug out and try to crank it or push it to see if it will roll. That will check to see if the engine is hydro locked. If it doesn't turn over or roll with spark plug out. Find the master link on the chain and remove the chain. Try rolling it again. If it doesn't roll it's a rear brake or axle problem. If it does roll the problem is in the engine or drive gear.

Yep thanks, that’s gonna be the plan today when I get home..

Let’s say I have the problem isolated to the rear end.. what else is back there besides the brakes that would keep it locked up? Should be just bearings back there, right?
