LSU baseball starts off slow pretty much every year. We will lose mid-week games. Hell we might lose a couple of series. But when the warm weather hits the tigers always go on a tear. Just be patient and stop being so reactive to a bad play or pitching.

Even the weather can’t help Hal Hughes.

everyone gave up on Kramer too...

Yeah, but Hughes' mom doesnt coach D1 women's basketball

Hughes was the smallest baby ever born in Louisiana. It’s miraculous what he’s done to get here today.

Yep: LSU baseball wins the first two games of the season. Cancel the season.

They’ll never learn unfortunately.
This happens every season.
I bet if we go back to the 2009 season, we could find some quality posts after LSU lost the series to Illinois.

They’ll be back again today too. Even if LSU goes up 5-0 in the first inning and the staff throws a shutout.

As soon as TrueTigerTale calls the loss you know we've got it in the bag.

I didn't get to watch the game friday but checked the rant a few times, you would have thought Hess was just god awful
Watched the replay last night, I had laughed the whole fricking time. Hess looked just fine. This place will never change

I agree the rant is baseball dumb, but let’s not act as if Hess looked like a SEC Friday night ace.
He his team is built to go deep, but has some fine tuning to do. Hess is probably your Saturday/Sunday guy by the middle of March. No lefties in bullpen isn’t ideal. And the lineup will work itself out In The next couple of weeks.
This team has the makeup to go deep. We have several bats that can go deep. Our bullpen is deeper this year. And we have a good defensive team with versatility.

Actually, we generally start off fast... struggle in the SEC play, win the tourney and bomb in post season, when it matters.

They never will. They sit on here and bitch instead of going to the game.

Hughes might as well just stand on his left leg and swing.
He’d get the same amount of power from his right leg as he already does.
When your 9 hole hitter is getting all offspeed stuff..not good.

They will never learn. That would require the maturity of an adult.

Fortunately that's not for you and the other low "T" guys to decide.
