Need recs for a hog hunt

A couple buddies and I are looking to go for a weekend hog shoot. Thought about the helicopter hunts but don't want to shell out the cash. Has anyone done a "guided" hog hunt? Don't really need a guide to hold our hand, just need a place that has hogs for us to spot and stalk.

Hog hunts are very reasonable. Where are you located? There are many places in Texas that you could go to for reasonable prices

I just called and got some details. Hunt friday night and early saturday morning, saturday night and possibly early sunday morning. 20-30 yard shots in stands. $250 deposit per person and they can accommodate up to 20 people.
(This is all for late summer) I’m sure the hunting times would be different not in the summer.

I think a buddy and I are gonna book the last weekend in July. They said they keep taking people until fills up so a single could hunt or a group of 20 it doesn’t matter

Yea I love mine. I’m actually thinking about grabbing the DI version too...I like the lower rail. Although the high rail of the piston version put my xsight II at the perfect height for eye relief. I’ll have to see how my 4k pro mounts to it. I have to send my piston in because it was one of the first ones and has a extractor issue. I’m just waiting for my omega to get out of jail so I can send it and my hybrid to POF. They told me they would make sure it runs perfect with either and if not will adjust the gas port if need be.

Sounds like you got a pretty slick setup with that thermal up there. I’m about to throw a can in jail for it but haven’t decided on one yet.
