Art of the Deal?

So Trump rejected 1.6 billion before the government shutdown, then shut down the government, and now is getting a smaller number? I'm starting to believe all those stories that said Trump had the art of the deal ghost written

-The wall will be built.
-No new deal for Dreamers
-No limits on arresting illegals
Sounds like dems need to learn to read the tea leaves a little better

I thought Nancy said no money for the wall?

You realize the there is at least $4B Trump can use for the wall, don't you?

Is there a point to this thread? Or are you just typing whatever comes into your head?

Lol. This is Rich. So it went from a giant border wall that would span the entire Southern border oh, that Mexico was going to pay for, to a 200 total mile area and less money than he was offered before shutdown? Lol. Come on.

It's political board and it's a political statement and is meant to start a conversation. Seems pretty obvious.

And? You didn't vote for him, and don't support him. So quite frankly no one cares what your opinion is regarding his position.
Faking as if you are holding political opponents to the promises they made to the people that voted for them is disingenuous as hell and serves no point but to be inflammatory.

Can you count to 10?
As in 10 USC 284?
Doesn't matter what's in this "deal."
Daddy takes what he wants.

The next original thought you type out will be the first.

He's just parroting talking points he sees on other boards that he thinks make him sound smarter than us. Not an original thought in his head.

Will Democrats have been agreeing that there should be barriers and strategic location since 2006. Everyone on this board agrees. Looks like the Democrats got what they've always wanted and Donald Trump Trump's looks like an asshat with poor negotiation skills.

So Democrats rejected 5.7 billion before the government shutdown, then shut down the government costing 11.6 billion, and now is spending 3.8 billion making the whole thing a larger number?

I'm sorry, is this over? Did someone declare all of this over and done?
The wall is being built. No concessions have been made to the left. That's where we are right now

DJT'S background is business. In business you make a deal because both sides get something.
What you don't see in business is people rejecting a good deal for themselves out of spite or in hopes of making the other party look foolish. The smart move is for the Democrats to approve the wall in exchange for DACA. Trump gets what he wants, they get what they want, everyone wins.
Pelosi and Schumer are more concerned with making DJT look stupid than with making the best deal. That pays off in politics. In business, you can do it but you won't stay in business very long.
