What did you expect AD after you ostracized yourself from this team by making it clear that YOU are not interested in playing with YOUR team?

If I were Davis, I wouldn't want to play with these guys anymore. Just sit your arse at home and play video games until LeBron is done playing.. Then you can Facetime him

This may persist for quite a while.
If he shitcans his value to where we gain nothing by trading him, I’d say make him play out his contract.
Try to trade him up through the next trade deadline. No takers? Then we sit him or let him take a buyout for pennies on the dollar to walk.
This is basically a nuclear option if he intentionally tanks his value to any non-Laker bidder. Because getting nothing is better than getting most of those Laker “assets”.
If he shitcans his value to where we gain nothing by trading him, I’d say make him play out his contract.

If he shows he will intentionally frick around on the court instead of giving effort if he doesn’t want to be there, it could drop the number of bidders and affect the return on a trade.
It’s the difference in the yield on a trade for a long term guy and a deadline trade for a guy to help you over the hump.
