Man i dunno but i couldnt get into the last ESO online. Loved skyrim and oblivion.
I wasn’t crazy about ESO when I played it because most of the time I was soloing it. By the time I got around to downloading the game, all my ps4 buddies had quit playing the game, so I really didn’t have anyone to run with and to help me out with all the grinding. That got old quick and I more or less burnt out by the time I reached max level.

Does anyone play this game online? I mean just in general, not here. I've watched youtube videos and I never see people teaming up.

I play daily as I've maxed out all of the crafting skills. I'm xbox Euro server though as I play at odd times. Dragons are coming, so with that being said I have confidence they can make a great game. ESO has continuously improved each year

As long as their goal is to make an ACTION-(rpg) that preteens will enjoy, I’m skeptical. I’m not a blind Morrowind fanboy, but I would like to see that attention to culture and world building in a future game. I personally think Oblivion was the right balance. How often have a game series’s mechanics gotten more complicated though?

You are never allowed to make fun of the Nintendo guys again, the white knighting you have done for Bethesda in this thread makes it seem like you and Bethesda are in a serious relationship

Yes, and probably will, but it won't be as good as Skyrim, Bethesda in general has slowly gotten worse with each new release, in every franchise

When have I white knighted? I've acknowledged their jank and how badly they botched 76. But TES is what they do, and always do well. Online was out of their wheelhouse and it shows.
They made one bad game. I know it's the thing to write everyone off right away and cheer on the failing, but I can't get on board with the rest of the bitch arse reactionary gamers.
And if 76 was a Nintendo project, all of you would be explaining to me why these shortcomings make for the better experience anyways. Fallout fans aren't doing that.

I'm not all in as some of yall are with bethesda. I only played skyrim, fallout 3, new vegas, and 4. 3 was fine but I was blown away by new vegas which I even played many years after it was released. I have talked about 4 on here before but basic recap - put 80+ hours in it. Thought it was ok (obviously wouldn't play 80+ hours on something that sucked) but just quit one day. Story didn't pull me in. Sicboy, I agree they should have just let the main character be silent. Writing would have been fine.
That being said, I gave 76 zero chance. Just did not appeal to me and it just seemed like a meh idea. I hope it keeps getting better for the people who do like it though. I hope they learn from the mistakes in 4 and '76 and make the new elder scrolls game a masterpiece.

76 isnt terrible from a game mechanic standpoint.
from story writing they basically didnt do it much like destiny didnt at first.
difference I see between the two is destiny had some lore you just had to chase it so it created some interest.
fallout has lots of lore and 76 doesnt play nicely with some of it. although its debatable. but there were already wikis anccd scholars in their lore so the community didnt come together over understanding it all like in destiny.
fallout76 needs a community building effort to get it on track. new content will help as well as getting rid of the negative Nancy's who never even tried it.
I dont think anyone really cares for or is interested in pvp from what I see though. I'd rather pve any day with some friends.

I loved New Vegas
4 was ok
3 and 4 felt like post-apocalyptic Elder Scrolls
New Vegas had the tone and feel that was consistent with Fallout 1 and 2
And they brought back Marcus the Mutant

When there are events, those areas are Uber populated and you don't even need the dungeon finder to get a group, at least that's my experience on the EUR Xbox server.
They recently had a a double rewards Morrowind event and I cleared all major bosses and Dungeons with 5 different characters in a week's time. Look for events and there the population will be at all times of the day, not just peak times

ESO turned into a very solid game even though the combat leaves a bit to be desired. It’s amazing how massive the world is now. Burned out hard on it a while back but still fire it up from time to time when I got nothing else to play.

ESO isn't developed by Bethesda.

The truth is that Morrowind was good, Oblivion was better, Skyrim was even better still and ESO was a good game but not what Elder Scrolls superfans wanted (MMO).
I have every faith that if they make another single player Elder Scrolls game, it will be very good.
The same goes with Fallout, I have no interest in an MMO so Fallout 76 sucked for me but Fallouts 3 and 4 were both enjoyable games.
