I know some guys that fish it regular. Big time hit or miss but I know weather changes seem to really shut it down. But you never know. Sounds like we all need to spread out and figure them out right now.

Yep fixing to hook up. Wind calmed and it warmed up a little

It was turrible today. Big winds don’t mix with a kayak. I was surprised at the amount of grass in there for February.

Will do. My buddy just reported back from IC. 22 boats in the tourney, winner weighed in 6lbs.

Finishing up my console today hopefully. After that just some minor wiring to tackle and about 4 more hours of break-in and I'll be wide arse open

Damn right. Ill be there March 16th, and possibly the 17th, too, as long as the weather cooperates. I love fishing there.

I was looking at IC on map and want to go up and fish it some time. Is the only place to put in at the rec area?
Posted on 2/16/19 at 2:27 pm to headedwest21
You can also put in on the south end at Martin Springs Rd.

It looks like a mini Toledo Bend. Does it ever fish like it? I mean fishing offshore on humps or points?

There was a big tournament this morning. Not sure if it was out of there but I know a bunch went there.

33# won the bass champs on Toledo and 30# was second. 15.64# to get a check. I hope the weather holds out for next weekend. I may go regardless.
