Had to do the tie down of shame at the IC launch Sunday. Got there and unhooked, went to trim up to take my motor brace off and had no power. Nav light switch got turned on I'm guessing when I got something out of the boat last week.

At least it was a short drive home......

You don’t have a power supply switch. Last fall I was working on the boat and listening to music. Forgot to turn the main power switch off and accidentally had a switch in that was draining power. Two weeks later go to run the boat and the main battery was dead. Took two days to recharge that bitch

Holler at me when you get into town. We can grab a pizza and a few drinks. I’ve been on caddo multiple times in the past couple weeks.

Tight lines

Heard from some buddies that Lake Martin has been shite show lately with all the boats. WLF having to be out there to keep people straight. High water going to make it a congested spring everywhere.

That’s unfortunate. I usually like going to Lake Martin on winter afternoons cause there’s nobody out there and I can usually catch a few decent fish. As soon as duck season ends and the sacalait start biting a little it gets crazy out there. I took this pic last year and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Boats were fishing on top eachother all over the lake.

That was my last trip out there. I haven’t been able to go this winter.

Might just do that. I'll reach out through our mutual acquaintances.

I saw some pics from over the weekend with ole big swoll and some nice slabs. I reckon they came off his old lady's property...

Taking the gf to Toledo on a guided crappie white perch sac-a-lait trip this weekend, couple of Houston buddies and their kiddos meeting us up there. Hoping to look at some properties and houses Sunday, retirement isn’t that far away....

With water high everywhere, i bet the Bamas have more structure along the banks to fish. Could mean more snags. But it could also mean more bites.

Who are you going with? We are doing the same thing for Good Friday this year with Capt. Larry White. Compared to the inshore charter prices, going on that trip is extremely inexpensive.

Pay attention to the water temp. If it's lower than 55, they may still be off the bank.

It's been kinda warm lately though. Might be above that by now. Unfortunately I wouldn't know.

I have had that happen twice. Had great trips both times just with the trolling motor. I may have to delete this later.
