I know that is traditional line of thinking but I’m not sure I agree with the reasoning. No one else is gonna beat GSW so why does it matter if you play them second or third? Playing them sooner would give you a better chance of meeting them at full health doesn’t it. Assuming you are at full health when the playoffs start you have one series before them instead of two gives you less of a chance of getting someone nicked up before you play them.

But the reverse is also true for golden state. If you get them later there’s a greater chance of steph/kd/klay/whoever else dealing with some sort of injury nonsense. I don’t think it really matters when you get them they’re going to beat the tar out of whoever they play.

How many minutes should harden play?
So many teams within a few losses that no one in 5 thru 10 can count on 8th place yet.

The perception was that harden ran out of gas in 2018 wcf.

Or did he have stage fright?
