She had a very short peak as an "it" girl. But she was hot as a pistol in these Zorro flicks.

Dangerous snatch that gives men cancer.

This and Entrapment certainly entertained me as an 18 year old or so

She was so radiantly beautiful in her prime

Bump because I’m watching this right now. It’s so good. And it seems like I’m the only person whose created a thread on this classic movie and it’s be odd to create another one.
As I get older, the more I appreciate the polticial
Scheming subplot if the Spanish
Governor should have had guards with him
Even in this first scene, the sword fighting is great

This isn’t a real gripe because I know it’s a movie and not to take it too seriously so don’t bite my head off…
For some reason even as a kid the scene when he jumps off the roof or window onto the horse always through me off because it seemed like an impossible thing to actually do in real life

It happens in like every western though. But point taken.
The bit where they get tied around the cactus naked terrifies me

Yea but for some reason that one stuck with me. Maybe because he whistles in the dark and then the horse comes right to the correct spot and he jumps down without looking.
Like I said, it’s a stupid gripe

The transformation Antonio Banderas does is remarkable. He’s such a bum at the beginning

Definitely one of the great, underrated action flicks of the 90s. Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, and Catherine Zeta-Jones all brought their A-game. Add to that a pair of worthy foils played solidly by Matt Letscher and Stuart Wilson.
I remember seeing this film in the theater as a pre-teen. Zorro had been one of my favorite shows on the Disney Channel so naturally I had to drag my grandmother to see the movie with me. I was not disappointed.

It’s interesting that as a criminal, he was known as being a horse thief.
And his first act as Zorro…. Is to steal a horse
“Kill him”
Zorro definitely killed the tall guy
“How many sins could you have committed in three days.”
“I broke the 4th commandment.”
“You killed someone.”
“No, that is not the 4th commandment”

I was surprised to see she only has 44 credits to her name on IMDb….and probably the first 10 or so are garbage entry level type roles.
But that run of The Phantom, Zorro, and Entrapment she was absolutely fire

Still some smoke there. She looks pretty good as Morticia.

Jones was never more sizzling than in this film.
Also one of my favorite straight up action adventure films ever. It’s pretty damn perfect.
