Perhaps its weird topic for this board, or maybe not.

I consider myself a chip junky...like a large bag every 2 days or less.

I want to venture out of the regular supermarket options, although I do have some favorites.

A) what's a good place to buy Gourmet, lessee know brands
B) good choices?

Some of my favorites...
Classic ranch Fritos and cheddar & SC ruffles. I like overly flavored chips...like when you happen to grab a Dorito that is solid orange.

Not a zapps fan...dont crucify me

World Market has some offbeat chips, but any Asian grocery will expand your horizons too.

Taking a risk here, but Circle K sells store brand “kettle cooked” chips that are IMO delicious

I love kettle cooked chips, usually eat any flavor. these tortilla chips are about as solid as they come and are usually cheaper than the main brands

You may like Taki's...they're a big thing with all the kids these days. I don't like them because they're waaayyy overseasoned, though sounds like that might be right up your alley. Get the purple bag.

For other, more obscure options maybe check out Amazon?

Rap Snacks bruh. Get them Fetty Waps

They are actually pretty good and the one bag I had was overloaded with seasoning.

If you have access to Julio’s for a tortilla chip give it a try.

Theses are ok but when I was a kid, Ruffles had a flavor called Bacon and Sour Cream. It was so good, I wish they still made it. I read you can get it in Canada although I've never tried to order them online.

When I was a kid though, the absolute best potato chip I ever had, by far, is from a place called Gibbles in Pennsylvania. You can order them online. They are soooooooo good. Just regular plain chips, no flavor. They fry them in lard, I know, can't be good for you but it is so good.

A close second is Utz chips, also from Pennsylvania (who bought Zapp's ironically). Get the grandma utz chips if you can. Crunchy like plain Zapp's but also fried in lard. The Gibbles ones have the texture of plain Lays but they're a million times better.

TJ Maxx / Marshalls usually has some awesome flavors you can't get in stores by all the oil and spices. Got some rosemary and garlic chips a few weeks ago that were great.
