Context 1: Kushner on a boat in the same body of water as another boat flying the confederate flag = Kushner is clearly a seething white supremecist.

Context 2: Northram and his buddy attend a party mockingly dressed as a negro and a klansman = Northram has done so much good, and we shouldn’t judge his choices from 30 years ago.

See? Context.
