Meh, I’d rather a manual winder or a traditional auto. I doubt I’d like a titanium watch either.

Same price as a Speedmaster?

I think the only negative about the watch is its size.

I think cheaper than Omega - was hoping Tudor price. Maybe should do tudor. Buying in Japan sounds like the ultimate csb time.

So spring drive has no battery but uses quartz to drive more accuracy? Maybe I do want a true automatic.

If you have the money then go for it. It's an incredible watch with an incredible movement, and if money were no object then I would love to have one. Don't like the one you posted in your OP though.

This is a little more my style.

Hate these threads, I always end up looking up watches online. Never seen this one.

GS makes an excellent watch, the finish quality particularly their dials and dial furniture punches well above their weight.

GS is one of the few mainstream brands I haven't owned it is is basically because their aesthetic leaves me a little cold. They tend to be the essence of an everyday watch. Outside their dive watches most sit in between a dress watch and a sports watch, similar to the Rolex DJ. They are also one of the watches that will draw a knowing nod from watch nerds.

I am not a fan of the Springdrive movements, while they are very accurate and result in a very smooth second-hand sweep I would buy one with a Hi-Beat if I bought one. That said the Snowflake (SBGA211) is probably the best known and most coveted GS.

With watches, I always tell people to buy what they like. Above all buy watches that make you smile when you look at them. Watches that I have bought for other reasons tend to sit in the box and are worn almost grudgingly just to give them wrist time.

I think the Sinn 756II and the blue 756III were limited to 75 each. I can't think of Sinn and not think U1.
