This is the most desperate moments of Lebron's career

He's either going to land Anthony Davis and get another shot at a title in 2020
OR
He's going to rot in Los Angeles these last 4 years and his legacy will never match Michael Jordan's
I tend to think the latter is going to happen, which is why recently LeBron is trying to convince himself that Kyrie irving hitting the shot against Golden State made him the greatest player of all time. He's trying to downplay the last 6 years (2017-2023) of his career where he never came close to a title.... "becuz 2016 already made me the greatest"
And it's funny because if you go back to 2016 after game 7 he was quoted in interviews saying "I'm just trying to chase the ghost of Michael jordan." He knew he had a long way to go at that point. But fast forward 3 years to present time where the odds of winning titles are slim to none and now LBJ is playing revisionist history to prop up his fragile ego.

Just food for thought

Yep, deep down he knows his title winning days are done. that’s why he went to LA. For non basketball reasons.

He still will have a good legacy, but striking out the last 6 years of his career for titles will eliminate him from Jordan status.

Most rational Lakers fans know he's not gonna win a championship with them. They just hope he wins a playoff series or 2

To some people he will be the best ever
To some people he would never be the best no matter what he did

Idk about that. Everyone I know has given him a fair shot. He just let a lot of people down when he went the super team route.

To most people is what matters. Public opinion will keep Jordan at #1.
LeBron's status as head to head with jordan falls drastically if he strikes out in LA.

His team success will, but success as basketball players are neck and neck, with MJ slightly ahead for me

Jordan was 40, dunce. He wasn't a top 50 player in the league.
Lebron is 34, still considered the best in the league. (As was Jordan at the same age. And he was in the middle of his second three peat)
