I don’t know much about the series, because I’ve never played any of the games. I’m sure someone here has played it, I just want know how good of a game is it story wise and about how many hours it’ll take me to complete.
Thanks

If you have an Xbox you can get the Game Pass for $1 and download Just Cause 3

I've never played them, but my son has and he loves them. He's 12 though.
I've watched him play some of 3 and 4 and they look cool at least.

Nah I’m on PS4 and this will probably my last game I’ll purchase for console because I’ll soon be switching over to PC. I just need a new game to play for about a month until I can build my PC.

Not having really played a Just Cause game either, I feel confident in saying you don't play those games for their story.
They're mostly huge open world sandboxes. I believe the second game is the best one. 3 is good, but I don't like how it locks story progression behind a lot of grinding side content.

I'm playing JC3 now. Its worth $6 I spent on it. There's too many frustrating issues to make it worth more.

It's rare I don't finish a game I buy. I loved JC 2 and 3. But I can't bring myself to keep going in 4. I've taken a month long break from it and have no desire to go back.
At some point I'll probably finish it. But I would rather replay Spiderman or something else.

Why not buy Red Dead Redemption 2 then?

I enjoyed JC3 for what it is. Fun game where you just go around and creatively blow up shite and cause mayhem while over throwing a tyrannical government
I heard JC4 deviated alot from their traditional formula however and a lot of people are not happy with it
RDR2 is a must buy if you havent already though. Best game I played last year.

Yep. Get 3 for a few bucks and rock out and skip 4.

Think GTA, Spiderman, and Michael Bay all mixed into one game. The voice acting is world class awful, but it make me laugh.

This. JC2 was fun for messing around and parachuting from point to point within the jungle, but the story was too weird for me so it never really held my attention enough to finish it
