WBZ Boston: Saints Fans Can Complain About Non-Call Forever

CBS Boston
really worth the read... nice to see a Boston guy take up for us even though they're about to go to yet another SB
SIAP
ETA: and it's their most read story... even more than Patriot Super Bowl stories
quote:
BOSTON (CBS) — Some time has passed now since the officiating crew in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game completely blew a call near the end of regulation. And while nobody disputes how atrocious the missed call was by the officials on the field, I must say, the fallout has been slightly different than I anticipated.
It’s been weird. This isn’t a scientific measurement by any means, but I have observed two distinct camps. People have generally responded by either saying:
A: Quit crying! Every team deals with bad calls!
or
B: The Saints still had plenty of chances to win the game!
or
C: It’s the Saints’ fault that they were even in that spot! Blame Sean Payton!
All of that is wrong. I’m here to say that. It’s wrong.

Problem is that casual fans watched the other day who likely never watch every week.
Or, they watch sparingly. Their touch up on how many plays and calls seen throughout the course of the year, better yet a lifetime of PI calls is likely weak as heck. They will say the obvious lines and troll it out non stop incessantly. Those who have built in bias also will.
These people are the problem and also why Goodell and the league will neither address the blatant rigged non call or change their stances of being deceitful scum, ever. The dumb. The stupid. The bias. The "you had it coming", or "remember this play" crowd.
No bro, I don't particularly remember any play in the history of football that was as egregious as this one at any specific point in time with so much on the line and as sure of a win.
And, so rhe circus will continue going and another team may one day experience the same as we and when it does don't cry. Don't say a word. Don't say shite. We won't be there to give a damn.
I'd laugh my arse off if it happened to Atlanta, no lie. But immediately afterwards I would be a total liar and deceiver if I didn't say, "But yall got fricked harder than any frick ever given".

I'm typing this post from my office in downtown Boston. The one constant that every Patriots fan I know has expressed has been absolute disbelief.
Not even New England fans can wrap their heads around that horse shite.

I honestly thought I was over it today.
Then I read this article.
Son of a bitch. I need to get away from this forum.
