Does anybody seriously believe that this was just a blown call?

It's one thing to be out of position and miss a call because your view is blocked but you have 2 officials within 15 ft. and 90 degree angles of each other to this play and no p.i., no helmet to helmet call when literally everyone else with at least one functioning eyeball instantly saw this. I know there are times when you witness something so strange that you can't believe your eyes but that does not apply here. Witnessed in real time , slo-mo or any other time you choose, this was so obvious that I'm just not buying the blown call angle. Once you consider any of the other alternatives how can you ever consider taking seriously any other NFL sponsored games unless this is thoroughly investigated and remedied. Which unfortunately will probably not happen. I expect they will try to find a way to spray some air freshener on a big pile of shite. This team , this fanbase and every other team and fanbase deserve better than this .

No. This was rigged. I expect that out of the WWE. (See Montreal Screwjob). Hell, some sportsbooks are refunding wagers on the Saints. You know it's bad when that happens.

At very best it was a blown call that the official realized was blown but choked in the moment because they didn't want to look bad reversing it after a decent amount of time had passed/didn't want to end game on a penalty.
AT VERY BEST.
There was a willfulness to not throw the flag any way you look at it.

Until yesterday, I didn’t get into nfl conspiracy theories. Now, I do. That was too blatant. I keep expecting to get a makeup holding call on them, but it never came.

Honestly it was a good no call. Dont know what the fuss is about.

Well good then there just might be a spot for you as an NFL official. Hopefully there will be some spots opening up soon.

No, and honestly, I think the fact that it was so blatant has me mind-bottlingly calm about the whole thing.
Yes, they could have won in overtme. Drew didn't have to throw an int. We won it in regulation without any outside influence though and knowing that has me comforted.
It sucks but once it was taken out of the players hand and put into the refs, I was over it before the game even ended.
We can try to beat the odds again next season.
Who Dat!

I don’t think it was just a blown call

Oh yeah they just “missed it”. The two that were close probably had something in their eyes. The guy in New York who could have made a call was probably taking a dump.

It was a blown call. It's more naive to think it was a conspiracy. And if you truly think it is a conspiracy then you might as well never watch the NFL or Saints again because, by your own logic, they will never be able to win another title.

The development of the land and new stadium in Los Angeles is a 5 BILLION DOLLAR project (400 million of which is funded by the NFL). This was the NFL protecting their investment.

I guess you could hope for a day when the Saints interests and the NFL’s interests align. I mean that’s what Atlanta and Carolina fans think happened in 2009.

Yes I believe it was just a blown call.
