Doesn't matter... to my point:

No people have a 'right' to the land - or anything else - that they cannot defend.
In the evolution of mankind conquest is the primary thrust of human expansion into new areas.
This notion of "empires bad" is the most ignorant bullshite of all time and could only take hold in a population who is woefully ignorant and susceptible to being brain washed to think that the concept of morality was born with them.

So if one person sets foot on North America they just get the whole thing to themselves?
When the Europeans arrived America was mostly unsettled. You can cling to that all you want, but it still leaves 95% of America wide open for other people to settle.

I was here first sounds like an elementary school kid. This does not apply to the history of man as empires and territories have changed hands so many times. In this belief, most countries in the world should forfeit to a previous culture or race who may have been there first, thousands of years ago.
If you can’t settle and defend the land it’s not yours. The reason we aren’t Russia or China right now I’d because we can defend our land. This applies to all other countries and alliances.

The group with the most right to land is the exact same group it’s been since time immortal. Whoever can take it and hold it.
The first Indian tribe did just that. Then the second came and took over. Then another. Then another. When another group of people is able to come to America and take it from us, then it will be their land. Until that day comes, it’s ours.
