My little man outdid himself again, two nice bucks in two days. This one is better looking (and bigger) than yesterday's. He's almost as proud as I am.

What a great weekend, I enjoy this so much more than shooting myself.

We hunt in Concordia parish and when the river is this high, we usually do well. I'm lucky to have great in-laws!

i saw 3 mature does.. nothing chasing. both uncles were at the camp. both shot 6pts chasing.. little 6pts.. may could ball your fist and fit between horns 6pts. so aggervating, i let 2 deer walk 2 weeks ago bigger than the 2 they just killed.

yea we only have 200 acres. I try and manage it best i can. Im no score junkie or anything, and really dont care as long as its a decent buck. But Jesus, 2 6pts that may be 8inches wide at best, that weighed 150lbs COMBINED. and one has already shot a spike he "thought was a doe earlier this year. You would think grown men would have a little better judgement
