Maybe its a lesson in hard knocks, they teach you about wasteful spending by giving them a 300k check for nothing. You don't forget that kind of lesson.

I would guess the work trucks being stolen was an inside job. Some of the inventory that goes missing with the state is mind boggling.

Wildlife and Fisheries used to park all their trucks at Jimmy Swaggart's. shite got stolen off of them all the time. I knew a guy in HS that stole 4 or 5 winches off the trucks. If you park a bunch of vehicles in any unsecured location, someone will find a way to do something to them no matter how nice the area.
