consider me a car enthusiast with a very keen people watching eye. I like to study styling cues and other aspects of cars. I just so happen to spot a common themes in pictures and he was one of them.

Perfect, let him know he went with a good beard and hair style look but i'd have opted for a little color variation in shoe selection. Break up some of that yellow. OT 7.368...No Homo

It's cool...I was just teasing you. I figured someone would notice him.

I like the yellow shoes fwiw. They are some casual running shoes he has. He doesn't wear them all the time.

ETA: You would LOVE Barrett Jackson for people watching. The variety of people here is very interesting. Huge difference in crowds between Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is the cheapest day...$25 admission. My husband made the comment it looked like Redneck day at Barrett Jackson.

It's on my list to make them all but a family and traveling for work hinder that. I go to Crusin the coast every year on the MS gulf coast and i'd be willing to bet the people watching is on par with that, if not better. I'll make it out there eventually.

We saw that if you want a newer Jeep with all the modifications...better you buy it at auction already done than doing it yourself.

We met a guy that knew one of the guys selling the Black Mountain jeeps. He said that guy took a massive loss on the ones he sold there at BJ. I mean..we saw 2018 unlimited jeeps with tons of mods done...auctioned for 35-40K. That's like what a basic stock one goes for.

And the ones with the hideous angry eye things on them...would see so many people looking at them with interest. You would hear people say "oh I like that". Those are so horrible...I refused to even take pics of those.

First, thanks for all the pics, nurse!!!

Second, you are absolutely right...it is cheaper to buy a jeep already built, BUT, unless you fine tooth comb it, you are rarely certain of all the mods and if they are appropriately done...nowadays, though, 9/10 times the build is usually correct.

Thx again...would've loved to made it, but I'm heading out there next week.

I had to bite my tongue to not crack up when I heard this from some guy in his 20s next to me...

"Wow that is one cool looking Jeep!"

This was what he was commenting on...

That "Jeep" went for 42.5K

The people-watching is the best. I went with a friend Friday night and it was her first time. She's not into "the scene" but she even remarked that it was worth it alone for the people-watching. Lots of skank outfits, guys dressed like they are going to a club and a fair share of Affliction wear. I'm sure Sundays are amazing.

We saw a guy with a massive pit mix walking around(not a service dog either). I had no idea dogs(besides service ones) were allowed at BJ.

But yeah...it was more regular folks vs your typical Scottsdale crowd on Sunday.

We did appreciate how less packed the main auction tent was. Was easier for us to grab a seat in the stands and watch the auctions and go back and forth to the bidders bar for more drinks.

Yall are very welcome. As long as my husband and I go to Barrett Jackson...I'll continue to take pics. We may start going the last Sat and Sun now. It was nice to devote 2 days there instead of rushing to see it all in one day(which is really tough...doable...but tough).

nurse, those are awesome pictures.

I have always been a fan of the porsche 911, I use to have a poster of one in my room when I was a teenager...

But the black trans am (not sure what year), if I owned it I would legit drive it around as my primary vehicle...

I'm glad you were able to utilize the passes. A friend's girlfriend bartends out there all week and said Thursday she made $700+ in tips, over $800 Friday and Saturday made $1,300 and they pool their tips so all bartenders make the same. She met us to watch the NFL games yesterday instead of working B-J yesterday because she said it wouldn't be worth her time. She met us out after on Saturday night and said the room were all the tips were counted had money piled up everywhere and it took two hours to count it all. She said it will be similar when she bartends at Waste Management in two weeks.

I think you can see the scratch SoulGlo was talking about earlier in that picture.

Look at bottom left of car right by the logo. Or it could just be a reflection on it. That car looked more black outside. I didn't even realize it was purple until we saw it inside.

ETA: It was cool the glass panels in the bottom of the doors.
