Everybody knows this is a two horse race. But I guess you can't blame Oregon for taking a shot

I mean too late. It’s an LSU Alabama battle, but can’t blame them for trying.

well if by what ever reason he ended up in Oregon, it would be better than losing him to bama. I just dont see him going that far away from home, esp since his mom wants him to stay close to home.

It's also possible that it's a "if we aren't going to take your brother at Alabama, don't go to LSU" favor called in by Saban.

Saban didn't tell the head coach of another somewhat major program to take a wasted scholarship as a favor.

Come on guys.

I don’t think Oregon would do that just for the little elf

I wouldnt put it past that little short SOB. Saban knows all to well the monster LSU can be. Now is coach O going to get us there? IDK but I do know coach O has captured the SEC's attention with how well this season went, recruiting and jrs staying.

You honestly think Cristobal would waste a scholarship for a favor to Saban? I don't think they're all buddy buddy now that they're recruiting against each other.

I actually wouldn’t be that surprised. There are a couple instances of tips on the trail given to Cristobal from Bama.

You think it's out of the realm of possibility that he called his former assistant and asked him for a favor?

I wouldn't put it past that angry little pygmy, that's for sure.

This isn't a tip.

its telling someone to take a wasted scholarship to get Ish just to spite a conference opponent.

I'm sure Cristobal made the offer on his own. It is silly to think Saban can tell him to do something like that.

I don’t think Nick Saban has this much pull. It seems like we have really been trending for Sop the last month or so.

Thanks, I misunderstood the OP. That being said, who knows if he isn’t offered some quid pro quo?
