Full Body Workouts?

Anybody do full body Workouts as opposed to splits?
I have done full body occasionally, but always seem to fall back into doing splits before I really give it a chance.
Time is really not an issue - the gym is pretty close and I like going.
I am curious if others feeling going to like a MWF worked well for them.

I'm pretty sure the majority of posters on here do full body. See the greyskull lp thread.
I am still too fat to worry about isolation and splits.

I'm lucky to get in three days a week. Sometimes only two. So full body is a necessity.

100% agree with this. Life took to me MWF full body workouts. I love them and will never go back to splits.

Thanks guys. Probably going to try to get adjusted to it. Right now I am just wiped out after doing so many big compound movements, so I think I am going to have change my mindset some.
I have some winter pounds to lose and it makes sense that this will burn more fat.

Look at the greyskull lp, a ppl, or 531 1000% awesome template.

I’d spend far too long in the gym on full body workouts which would defeat the purpose of switching to it.

Only because you compete and need to focus on others than the big 4 and Olympic lifts but even you shouldn't be in more than an hour and a half.
Weetside style conjugate doesn't take longer then that even when focusing on the power and Olympic lifts at the same time.

Sabi no offense but if a full body workout would take too long then you are either resting way too much or focusing entirely on the wrong things.

Fair enough. I tend to go for quality form on a lot of things to maximize strength. In my opinion you’re just asking to injure yourself if you’re not taking adequate rest in between archer dips, archer pull-ups, ring handstands, ring shoulderstands, planche push-ups, pelican curls, etc
ETA: not to mention all the accessory work I have to do. I only work out 4 days a week anyways and I don’t think I’m in the gym too long.

I'm doing a slightly modified Texas Method template (no overhead work, swings for power clean and a little conditioning/strongman at the end).
Full body work is great. A well programmed full body program will allow you to recover just fine.

Well I would agree on some of those but most people are doing bodyweight gymnastics strength training like that and would have that as the assistance portion of their day. For full body it would look something like this if three days a week
Warmup- 5-8min
2 main movers-25 min
Supplemental work- if done in a giant set can be completed in 10-15 min

My warmup is about 25 minutes. Wrist prep, shoulder prep, elbow prep, etc. My accessory work depends on which day it is so that I’m not overstressing the same muscles/tendons/joints.
There is nothing wrong with taking as much as five minutes in between reps if you are doing moves which takes almost all your strength.

Your right if you compete in powerlifting, otherwise if you need that long to recover then you aren't in lifting shape imo

I do an upper/lower split
Week 1 is: Upper, Lower, Upper
Week 2 is: Lower, Upper, Lower
Sunday: Lift
Monday: Crossfit
Tuesday: Lift
Wednesday: Run (Speedwork)
Thursday: Lift
Friday: Crosffit
Saturday: Run (Long)
Mix in some easy miles on Monday too sometimes
