Nonsense. Now, I'll agree you can't run on every first down. Perhaps we shouldn't run so much on first down, but to suggest that calling a run on first down (if you're a team built to run across from a favorable defensive alignment) is always bad is football ignorance.

Yes. Calling plays predictably is bad, but in general I don’t think E is guilty of that.

Where parity exists running on first down is essentially a throw away down. That’s what the stats say.

Do you guys even read? the article looks at 10 years of data to back up the claim and you say nonsense

It is a break down of the NFL so if you want to say it doesn’t apply to college ok but it isn’t nonsense
