I don’t know why they call it dry eye because they are constantly watering. I’ve had the condition for years now and can’t beat it. Been to an allergist, etc. Use several different eye drops all day every day. Anybody here have a wonder cure?

Lay off the salt
Also, what kinds of meds are you taking? That could be causing your dry eyes.
I just started using Systane for my dry eyes. It’s nitbing but a lubricant but it seems to work really well.
It’s over the counter but expensive as frick.
Give it a shot.

Have you looked into punctal eye plugs? I have had this in for 10+ years, and it completely solved my dry eye issues.

Watch The Notebook and flush the system. You should be good to go.

Eyes freak me out. I’m legally blind without correction. I’m a candidate for RK but won’t do it.

I just live with it...I have been accused of being hungover at work. I corrected the stupid a-hole, who happened to be my boss.

They only thing that has ever worked for me is Xiidra. The downside is that they leave a nasty taste in your mouth until you get used to it and they are about $400 per month. I use it once a day instead of twice and get 2 uses out of each vial instead of one so it’s about $100 per month.

Stare at a computer all day?
Mine get itchy and watery when im at my desk and the sun is fiercly coming in. Had to stop wearing contacts to work, but didnt stop it.
I really dont do much about it but let it just pass. I tend to forget about out of work so dont remember. Ha.

During the day I use Thera Tears Extra Dey rye treatment. And at night I use anothe that is actually an ointment and the consistency of Vaseline.
On particularly bad days, I use drops probably every hour or so. I put them in and then my eyes are almost immediately dry again. Living in a place with NO humidity doesn’t help matters much.
My eyes get so dry I get headaches from it; brutal headaches. I haven’t actually found a cure. But if I can make myself cry, my God does it feel good.
Good luck.
