I think he would be a better than serviceable OC and a damned good position coach, just not a HC.
Guy gets a lot of hate because of his abortion of a tenure at Tennessee, but being a good position coach or even a coordinator is a different challenge than trying to turn around a dumpster fire at an SEC program.
I would never want him as a HC, but would embrace him as a member of the staff as a position coach and maybe even as an OC.

I was just talking about a Co-OC role and WR coach. No way would I want him as head coach right now.

What in the f are you talking about?? He came in after the botched late term abortion trying to save the baby, and got blamed for not reviving it.

OP...give him a couple more yrs at mizzou. If he can keep it solid after Lock he may get a HC position. I do think hes positioning himself for the bama gig consideration list after saban.

Only thing is he does seem to be a lone ranger, so he's not bringing a staff with him. Which is good/bad depending on the situation.

Guy had glimpses at UT that showed his potential. Game in BR back in '11. Just couldnt get the players in place in 2.5yrs. Honestly I hate we fired him to go with jones. And gave him 4-5 yrs.
