Your job as an American citizen is to pay the least amount of taxes you are legally able to. If you go to far, the IRS will investigate and new tax law/opinions/actions will occur as a result.

Who keeps 10+ years of tax returns?

I would love to be some kind of advisor on stuff like this. What would I advise?
1) Get McConnell to act like he will not take it up and then act like he gives in after a week of media crying and virtue signaling. Let us marinate in the news cycle really well.
2) sit on it without signing it for as long as allowed. Let the media get frenzied to the max.
3) Schedule press conference about the bill. Let the “we got him now!!” Start.
4) Veto it and say you will sign a revised version that requires the same of Congressional members and Supreme Court judges as well as any disclosure of any taxpayer provided funds and perks available to each branch within 5 days of request.
Tell media you will sign that immediately after it makes the noise of hitting your desk.
5) watch the squirming commence.

This bill is unconstitutional because it's not a requirement as listed in article two, section one of the constitution.
If they want this, they have to amend the constitution, not enact mere statuary legislation.
