Supporting Border Security is not the same as supporting the wall. And 325,000 people donating their own money doesn't prove anything at all.

I'm all for increased security along the Southern Border. Allocate $5 Billion or more for increased patrols, more electronic surveillance, whatever, just lay out a budget.

But a wall would be an economic and ecologic disaster and provide no tangible benefits. It's too bad its become such a political symbol, now.

That’s 0.1% of Americans who have donated. A large proportion, sure, but nowhere near the ~62 Million who voted for Trump and the ~68 Million who voted for someone other than Trump.

It’s all a play to keep the base happy but the base is by no means a majority as the 8 1/2 point arse-kicking the GOP took in the midterms demonstrates.

How would a Wall be a disaster and how would it provide no benefits. It’s not a cure all sure but you don’t think it would help?
